We figured this was a perfect forum to discuss what the Membership at The Bridal Centre is all about. Just about every bride wants to visit The Bridal Centre because of our amazing selection and trained bridal consultants. Many of our brides (about 40%) really wanted an enhanced experience:
Among the requests was an appointment that was twice as long as the standard appointment. Also, many times these brides want to bring more than 2-3 guests and they also want to take photo's of the gowns they have tried on. So membership appointments are designed to meet the needs of these brides who are happy to have an extended experience.
Some brides get confused and feel that we are charging for appointments, but this is not the case as we still provide a one hour complimentary appointment. This is the same level of service we have always offered in the semi-private Princess Room. You are not limited to one appointment and can return in the future. However, we do limit the number of guests and photography.
The 50$ membership fee does get you an enhanced level of service when shopping for your bridal gown, but this $50 fee is refunded on ANY PURCHASE over $200.00. If you purchase a bridal gown it is refunded, if you purchase a veil it is refunded, if you purchase a belt or hairpiece it is refunded or the most common is a refund when purchasing your bridesmaids.
Also, you receive a beautiful book to store your wedding related documents and information, with a photo of your gown that is inserted. Membership gives you 10% off all future purchases (Wedding gown, alterations and tuxedo rentals excluded). Many people who have bought their dress elsewhere will buy a membership to receive this discount towards Bridesmaids.
When you purchase your bridesmaids and rent your tuxedo or suit from The Bridal Centre you are upgraded to a platinum membership which gives you 20% off all your future purchases and 20% off your bridesmaids purchase!! This is an amazing offer which really helps your bridesmaids save money.
Membership benefits also include first access to designer trunk shows and our heavily attended custom veiling and headpiece event with Steve Yeldon who will design your accessories to your dress. You receive priority on sale items or special offers.
